Creative Dream Starcraft Terran Marine - from

It's an interesting sculpt and one I'd love to get my hands on.

The photograph is rather too small to offer really constructive criticism, although I've looked at the other angles on the mini. My main observation is that the paint work is dull and vague - I'm talking in terms of colour and finish rather than aesthetically speaking. The dark areas aren't dark enough and the light areas aren't light enough. This model would really reward giving the colourful panels a gloss-effect paint job (i.e. using the paints to convey the fall of light, not using gloss paints!), and the metal areas a dark metallic finish (i.e. mostly dark colours to contrast with the lighter coloured areas, but with sharp point highlighting to give it that futuristic finish).

Finally, the human face doesn't really stand out. Now, this may be different IRL, because the pic's really too small to judge. However, in a model like this one, the organic element should really be emphasized to underline its contrast with the inorganic armour. Smooth flesh tones with strong contrasts will help bring out the face as a focal point.
